"The Mel Gibson Tapes"

Audio Tapes  -  "Mel Gibson Rant"

Forgive me for being so slow.
But, I have just listened to "The Mel Gibson Tapes"  1 - 8
Are there more ? I don't know.

So, hopefully all the emotion has died down now,
and they can be examined in some technical detail.
As, Mel did say in his MTV interview,
that they were edited.

So, where were they edited, if so ?

Tapes  1 - 7 sound like Mel.

But what is going on with  Tape  8 ?
That is not Mel's voice at all.
It sounds like someone else,
with some distortion.

Could someone have released this tape by mistake ?

Unfinished ?

Could all the tapes, be indeed someone else's voice,
which has been digitally remastered to sound like Mel's ?

Are any audio mixers out there interested
in following up on this idea ?
Is it technically possible to distort someone's voice
to sound like someone else ?
