as described
in the previous blog post -
I watched
the movie (on YouTube),
“CLASH of the TITANS” (1981)
which is
the Ancient Greek story of Perseus,
the son of Zeus,
and how
he saved Andromeda from the Kraken,
using the head of Medusa.
At the
time, I had been wondering what sort of bird
would have such a long body. And
in the movie,
just such a bird was depicted, it being a vulture,
which carried Andromeda
in the golden cage
to the man she had previously been betrothed to Caliphos. The bird at VRD
has a long beak, though, so it could very well be an ibis.
I also
noticed a prominent island at the mouth of the Victoria River. Medusa lived on
an island, the “Island of the Dead”, which was in the middle of a river, the
River Styx.
What
if, the Victoria River was the River Styx ?
What
if, Quoin (Coin ?) Island is the Island of the Dead ?
(Coins
were used to pay the ferryman, inorder to go there)
What if,
the vulture was actually an ibis ?
This would
give credence to the old wives’ tale of how a newborn baby is delivered
to its
parents.
But, the
ibis at VRD is over 100 km long.
Did some
large animals (and humans etc.) just keep growing ?
Did
they grow so large, that being territorial, they started to clash against each
other
for available space on the Earth ?
Is this
possible, and how does this fit in with the history of the Earth ?
