The MRI - In General

This is an image from my MRI,
which was done on 21 March 2016.

It was done in order to establish
if any residual damage can be seen
at the top of my head,
and possibly elsewhere,
from a horse accident
I had in 1980 when I was 19.

Am I wrong,
but is damage to the skull
at the top of my head
a bit obvious ?





Anyway, there have also been complications and brain damage,
such that I can only function at a low level of physical activity.

It would seem also, that there may be more than one head injury,
so my functionality is a product of a composite set of circumstances.

I think that the MRI is an excellent way of highlighting physical structures
within the body.

And would also like to point out that it is black and white.
It is bluish here, because I had it up against a blue computer screen,
in order to show up the image.

The problem that I'm having,
is that although the primary impact zone has healed as well as it can,
gauging the level of brain function in objective terms
seems to be beyond the medical world at present.
(Function MRIs, I have been told by a medical professional,
are only used for research and not diagnosis).

If I can't get an objective diagnosis here, then I can't show people
that I'm not making it up, or that I'm not imagining
that I can't function at the normal level as everyone else.
People are very disbelieving unless you can provide proof.

Anybody else having this sort of problem?

What I was thinking was,
what if the MRI could also be produced in a colour image,
where the colours are graded according to the magnetic and/or radio frequencies
that are already being picked up by the black and white image?

What do you think ?

If this is possible,
it could document brain damage,
or areas of the brain that are not operational or below normal operational capacity.
It could highlight things that can't presently be seen,
and could aid diagnosis etc in a big way.

That advance in technology was achieved with black and white movie film,
maybe it could also be done here.

Does anybody out there have the time, the ability and the support,
to investigate this ?

My Story

Mel and I knew each other as children, when his family came to Australia.

This is because his parents knew my parents, but this was not common knowledge.

On occasion, our parents would get together and take us with them,

to something akin of a family outing, with other friends and their children.

Some of those children included, Robyn, Mel's ex-wife, and Bruce Davey, 

Mel's business partner.

On one of these get-togethers, there was an incident.

I had shown my affection for Mel, to him, as I had already decided that I liked him.

Behind Mel's back, Bruce tried to force sex onto me, but I pushed him away. 

as I had already decided that I didn't like him, at all.

He must have become very angry about this.

A while later, I was bending over to do something, and he came up behind me 

all of a sudden, and hit me in the right side of the head. so hard that I fell to the left 

and may have hit a wall, and had an epileptic fit.

So, why haven't I mentioned this earlier?

It is only a couple of months ago that I have remembered that I was hit 

in the right side of the head by somebody. I have been in the process of going to 

The Prince of Wales Hospital, here in Sydney, Australia, to have another 

head injury assessed, that I received from a horse accident in 1980.

So, I don't just have one head injury !

Then I started to realise that it was Bruce that did it. I'm sure it was him.

And then I was listening to, "The Mel Gibson Tapes".

On Tape No.2,  are the words, "....you need a f****** bat in the side of the head...."

That's when I knew, that was not Mel saying those words on those tapes.

It was Bruce remembering what he had done to me.

And that was when I realised that he had hit me with a bat. 

I thought he had punched me.

But, I didn't understand then, I was only 6 years old, Mel was 12, and Bruce was, 

I don't know, 17 maybe ?

Has anyone been able to technically analyze the tapes to verify if "Mel's" voice 

is indeed that of another, and if so, can it be verified that it is indeed 

the voice of Bruce Davey ?

Sunrise over Coogee Bay

This morning,
I got up a little earlier than usual,
and went down to take some photos
of the sunrise,
over Coogee Bay,
(Sydney, Australia).

This first photo was taken at
6.29am AEST
(Australian Eastern Standard Time).

I was surprised how many people
were down there,
and they are there regularly,
doing tai chi on the beach,
or running along the promenade
in groups or individually,
or taking photos like I was.
Some were even playing volleyball !!
And some were going in for a swim
as a group or by themselves,
but I heard one lady say
that the water was cold,
and by the sound of it,
it was very cold !

This is all before going to work.

And is all a good reason
to have a coffee afterwards  :)

"Wonderland"

So, I was just up at Dolphin Point,
at the northern end of Coogee Beach
(Sydney, Australia),
having a lamb burger at lunch today,
and went for a walk around about,
and just nearby I saw this block of flats,
and I realized that it's the building
that is featured in the Australian
television series, "Wonderland" !
Also, opposite,
on the other side of the road,
is the park where the birthday party
was filmed !

There was actually a party going on,
when I took this photo,
to the left of me,
with red balloons strung up
around the table nook.

I think that made my day  :)

Florence Scovel Shinn

"The Mel Gibson Tapes" #2

Audio Tapes  -  "Mel Gibson Rant"

So, wondering about "The Mel Gibson Tapes" still.

Supposedly they are recordings of phone calls that Mel made to Oksana,
and Oksana recorded them.

It seems that Mel did phone Oksana,
and was upset.

And apparently, a phone call can be recorded,
by attaching a recording device to a phone.
(trying not to sound too much like I'm still in the dark ages)

But, if you attach such a device,
then it would only be recording through the phone,
and not through the phone and also externally at the same time,
wouldn't it ?

So, wouldn't both Mel's and Oksana's voices
sound like you were listening to both of them on the phone ?

So, why is Oksana's voice so crystal clear ?

Even if the recording device is recording externally at the same time,
wouldn't the sound of her voice be rather scratchy,
picking up ambient sound ?

But, her voice sounds so clear,
like she is speaking into a second microphone,
of professional recording quality.
The one recording Mel's voice, being the first microphone.

And when she said Lucia was crying,
I couldn't hear the sound in the background.

Come to think of it,
I couldn't hear any ambient sound in the background
with the whole tapes.

Like it was being recorded in a recording studio.

Were Mel's phone calls to Oksana recorded,
and then transcribed into a script.
Then acted out between Oksana and an unknown other male person
in a recording studio,
on two separate microphones,
as when doing voice-overs,
with Mel's words being embellished and added to by this unknown other male person,
whose voice was then digitally remastered to sound like Mel's ?

Are there any other Digital Media amateurs or professionals out there,
thinking along the same lines as myself ?

Japanese Lunch

Today,
I was invited
by a Japanese friend,
to enjoy lunch
at a Japanese restaurant
in Sydney.

It was a pleasure
to dine on -
- Miso Soup
- Edamame
- A fried Tofu dish , and,
- Tempura Don

It was my first attempt
in a long time,
handling chopsticks,
and I think I need
a great deal
                                                                                                           more practice  :)
