THE 4 COLOURS
As the human population
increased,
more buildings were
constructed using these 4 colours –
WHITE
YELLOW
RED
BLACK
THE SUN CYCLE
One thing that became
very apparent to me
when I was painting the
outside of a house,
was that work could only
progress effectively
if I co-ordinated myself
with the movement of the sun.
(Not having any adequate,
artificial lights)
The sun casts shadows, those
shadows move,
and this changes the
lighting conditions on the work surface.
What you are doing, the
angle that the work surface is, and that you are, to the sun,
all contribute to the
required lighting condition that is needed at the time.
Thus, the particular job
would have to wait
until the appropriate
time / s of day.
Thus, I would say that
the construction industry in the First Age
became intrinsically
connected to, and developed the understanding of,
The Daily Cycle of the Sun,
possibly in this way -
THE PRODUCTION CYCLE
Probably also,
The Daily Cycle of
Production
would have become firmly
established,
this being along the
lines of –
SUNRISE -
PLAN FOR THE DAY - LOOKING FORWARDS
NOON -
MAXIMIUM ACTIVITY
SUNSET -
EVALUATING
WHAT WAS ACHIEVED
DURING THE DAY -
LOOKING BACKWARDS
MIDNIGHT -
MINIMUM ACTIVITY
